The Condicon of this obligacon is such That whereas the Churchwardens above
named Charles Wood< no role > Thomas Ingram< no role > Thomas Kirkham< no role > & John Freelove< no role > overseers of the
poore of the pish of St. Clement Danes with the assent of John Phillipps< no role > &
Alleslre Esqrs. Justices of the peace for the County of Middx & Citty & Libty of Westmr according
to the statute in that case made & provided have putt Elizabeth Coterell< no role > apprentice to
Ellianor hildor and have given with the sd apprentice the sume of twenty shillings
If therefore the a bone bounder Ellianor Hildor< no role > James Lo Ins & Francis Cooke< no role > or any or
either of them or either of their heire Execrs. or Admrs. doe well & Sufficently provided for
Keepe & maintaine the said Elizabeth Coterell< no role > in by & with all & all manner of need &
necessary meate drink washing lodging appraell Linnen & all other necessaryes meet
& Convenient for such an apprentice dureing the said terme of Eight yeares And
also well & sufficiently save defend Keepe harmlesse & indempnifies the said
Churchwardens & overseers of the poore of the said parish & their Successors for the time
being & all the Inhabitants of the said parish which now are or here after shall be of
and from the Charge of Keeping & maintaineing the said apprentice dureing the
terme aforesaid And of & From all accon & accons Suites & taxacons whatsoever
which the parishionrs of St. Clement Danes or any of them shall or may sustaine
mcurr or be putt unto for or in respect of the said apprentice in any manner of wise
then the obligacon to be void & of none effect or else to be & remaine in full force & vertue.
