to wit Jane Chamberlayne< no role > aged about
32 years upon her Oath saith that she never was
married That on the Sixth day of March last
she was delivered of a Female Bastard Child
at the workhouse belonging to the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes which hath since been
Christened by the Name of Jane< no role > That one
William Salter< no role > who lives at Mr. Burton in
Kent Street a Mop spinner is the father
thereof he having had carnal knowledge of
this Examinants Body and begotten the said
Child of which she was so delivered as aforesaid
And that the said Wm. Salter< no role > is the only real
and true father thereof.
