Saint Clement Danes

Middlesex

to wit Elizabeth Sweet< no role > aged about 21
years upon her Oath saith that she never was married
that she lived as a hired yearly servant with a Mr.
Danson in Cooks Court in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex for Four years at the
yearly Wages of Five Pounds that she hath quitted said
Service about Eighteen Months since which time she
hath not lived as a hired yearly servant for one year
or done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement And
further this Examinant upon her Oath saith that on the
29th. day of July last she was delivered of a Male
Bastard Child in the Workhouse belonging to the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes which hath since been
Christened by the Name of John< no role > That one Nathaniel
Pattram
< no role > a Shoemaker who lives at a Place called Till just beyond Bristol is the
father thereof he having had Carnal Knowledge of this
Examinants Body and begotten the said Child of where
she was so delivered as aforesaid and that the said
Nathaniel Pattram< no role > and no other Person did beget the [..]
same and that he is the only real and true father thereof
