to wit Mary Elley< no role > Aged about Twenty Six Years on
her Oath Says she Intermarried with her said Husband
John Elley< no role > at the Parish Church of Saint Giles in the
Fields in the County of Middlesex upwards of Seven
Years ago and by whom she hath Two Children now
living Namely Mary< no role > Aged about Three Years and John< no role >
Aged about Seven Weeks Says her said Husband (who
now lies under Sentence of Transportation) is a Native
of France and never gained any Settlement in England
either by Renting House paying Taxes or living a
hired Yearly or Covenanted Servant for one Year Says
that before her Intermarriage and whilst she was a
Singlwoman she lived a Hired Yearly Servant with
one Mr. Precious West.< no role > a Cabinet Maker in High Holbourn
in the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the County
of Middlesex for fourteen Months at the Yearly of five
Pounds hath quitted her said service about 9 Years ago
and hath not since she quitted the same ever gained
any or Subsequent Settlement.
