to wit Elizth. Lissiman< no role > Aged about Twenty Eight Years
on her Oath Says she never was married Rented House
or paid Taxes Says she lived a hired Yearly with one
Thos. Lewis< no role > Esqr . in Cooks Court Carey Street for Several
Years last Past at the Yearly Wages of Six Pounds
Ten shillings hath quitted her said Service about four
Months ago and hath not since she quitted the same
done Any Act whereby to gain a Subsequent Settlement
And further upon her Oath Says that on Saturday the
Eighteenth day of June East she was delivered of a Female
Bastard Child in the Work house belonging to the Parish
of Saint Clement Danes which has since been baptized by
the Name of Elizabeth< no role > and is become Chargable to the same
she being Poor and unable to maintain the said Child Says
that one Edward Boden< no role > late a Coachman with Mr. Lewis
( & who lately lived with one Mr. Lee a Bauker in Lombard
Street but where the said Edward Boden< no role > now lives she does
not know) is the Father thereof the having had Carnal
knowledge of her Body on or about the fifteenth of Septr.
last at her Masters Lodgings in Cooks Court aforesaid and at
sevl. [..] different times afterwards at one of which times he
got her with Child of the Female Bastard Child of which she
was so delivered as aforesaid and that the said Edward Boden< no role >
and no other Person did beget the same and that he is the real
and true Father thereof
