Informations taken this Fourth day of
June 1774 at the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square within the Liberty of Westmr. in the
County of Middlesex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of Jane Turner< no role > lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty and County.

Susanna Hasleden< no role > the Wife of Richard Hasleden< no role >
a Lodger at Mrs. Dickson in Chapple Street in the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square on her Oath saith
That Jane Turner< no role > the Deced Sister to Dept. has been
out of Place about six weeks and lodged all that
time with Dept. Says that the Deced had been in
London about two Years & two months Says that
on Whitsunday last (May 22d) Deced went out
in the Afternoon and came home about Eleven o'Clock
and a Young Man with her, whom Deced told this
was a Young Manwhomshe had known in
Staffordshire from when Deced came, Says that on
Wednesday the 25th. of May Deced went out in the
Morning about Eighth o'Clock telling this Dept. that she was going to
meet the same Young Man at the Globe in the
Strand , and Deced did not return, nor did Dept.
see her since alive Says that on being informed
yesterday Morning by Mr. Lewis the Beadle that
the Body of a young Woman was taken out of
the Bason in Hyde Park Drowned, [..]
Dept. went there and knew it to be the Body of
her Sister,whichSays that the same Young man
called upon Dept. on Friday the 27th. of May in the
Afternoon & enquired if Jane Turner< no role > lodged there
on Dept. asking him if he was not the Person who
was to meet the Deced at the Globe on Wednesday
Morning, "He said he was, and that they Breakfaster
"there together, That he was to meet the Deced on
"Wednesday Afternoon at three o'Clock in Lincoln's Jun
"Fields That he went there accordingly but did not
"find the Deced, That the Deced told him on
"Wednesday Morning that he wad. find her at this
Dept.
