Stephen Osman< no role > who lives at the Plow Alehouse in Rupert Street
Lam lighter on his Oath says that he was in Company with the
Deced & others or Tuesday night last at th Row, says the Club
broke up about 1 o' Clock in the Morning, when they were coming out
of the Room deced said to Deponent Will have a Glass, the deced
then said to Gould will you have a toss, Gould said no at first &
then the Deced said Ill have a Glass at the Bar myself & had it, &
then said to Gould now Ive' drank that Ill give you a toss for
another Glass, Gould them Agreed to toss and he that won was to
Drink & he that last was to Pay for it, says the deced drank about
12 Glasses, says when the deced had drank about 4 Glasses the
Deponent said to him dont drink any more, but the Deced said it was
nothing he had been at Sea and had drink there points of Gin at a
Sitting, Says the Land lady did not fill the Glasses quite full but
the Deced said they should he fulled as they won to be Paid for, says
when the Deced had done drinking he bid New good Night and
Says went home with him & in about a quarter of an hour Says
returned and desired the Deponent to come & assist him for that the
Deced had fallen down, the Depont. accordingly went & took the
Deced on his back & carried him home, but did not been him speak
says the Deced insisted upon drinking & tossing, that the Land-lady

porswaded him to have some of the Liquor to Morrow but he
would have it then, says the Deced took every Glass himself without
any force or compulsion whatsoever, says he believes the Deced
and Sould were quite Friendly together

Thomas Core< no role > who keeps the Plow Alehouse on his Oath Says
that the Deced was at his House Tuesday night last, the Club
broke up between 12 & 1 o'Clock in the Morning, says the Deced
Agreed to toss up with Gould for Mint and Carroway, that he
drank about 12 Glasses about half quartern cash & Gould drank
about Six Glasses, says he was at the Bar and his Wife filled
the Glasses but would have filled them only half full but that the Deced insisted on having them filled, says
the Deced took every Glass himself, the Deponent would have
perwaded the Deced to leave off but the Deced said it was
nothing to him for he had drank three Pinto of I in at a sittings
Says he seemed not much affected when he had done drinking, &
walked out of the House and Charles Lango< no role > followed him out.
