Informations taken this Sixth day of
May 1774 at the Parish of St. Margaret [..]
within the Liberty of Westmr . in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of James Kelly< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County.

William Trew< no role > House Surgeon at the Westmr.
Hospital in the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr .
on his Oath saith That James Kelly< no role > the Deced
came to said Hospital and was Admitted
as a Casually having a slight wound upon
the left side of his Forehead, Says that the
Deced wound was dressed in he Hospital
and all proper care taken of him, Says
that there was a great Inflammation, which
increased, Thatthatthe Deced was Delirious
soon after his being brought to the Hospital
and continued so to the time of his Death
which happened on Tuesday last May 3d (as
Dept. thinks) Says that he opened the
Deced's Head after Deatg in Mr. Watson presence and found the
Brain much Inflamed and believes that
he died in Consequence of the Wound
abovementioned. And this Dept. saith
that Mr. Watson the Surgeon told him "That
"the Deced had been near a week and
"his private care and that he recommended
"tis coming to the Hospital, and that the Deced
"told him that he reced his heart by a Brid [..]
"falling upon his Head"
