and upon the deced continuing his Disturbance
Mr. Johnson took hold of deced by the Collar and threw him upon a Bench by which means deceds Head was struck agt a moulding and
theupon the deced's getting up again he took hold of his Bayonet and half drew it
and swore he would run Johnson throw the Body and
every Man in the Room upon which Dept. immediately
intercepted to prevent Mischief, unbuckled the Belt
which fastned the deceds Bayonet, and Johnson took
it away and delivered it to his Wife. says that to
prevent Mischief, Mr. Johnson kept the deced Prisoner
till Mr. Batchellor the Serjeant of he Regiment to
which deced belonged came in; which was about an
hour says that when the Serjeant came in Mrs. Johnson
acquainted him with deceds Behaviour, and desired
that deced might be changed. which was accordingly
done. that the nextDayEvening the deced came to
Johnson's House, and asked Mrs. Johnson's Pardon for
his Insolence the preceding Night; says Mr. Johnson
asked the deced how his Head was; and deced replyed
very well. Mr. Johnson and deced shook hands and
the deced went away. Says that the night the deced
made the disturbance at Johnson's House he appeared
to Dept. to be in Liquor.

Lapidary on his Oath Saith that he was present on
or about the Second of March last when the deced
believed very rude at Mr. Johnson's House, setting upon
a Table before the Company, raking the Fire,and be
and using many other Indecencies upon which Mr. Johnson
laid hold of deced by the Collar and Pushed himupon
a Bench there
will an Intent to place him upon a
Bench there but the deceds foot Slipt and he fell
to the Ground, but the dept. did not see the deced's Head
Strike against any thing. says that after the deced
got up again there were two or three Skuftles between
the deced and Johnson, in the last of which the deced
attempted to draw his Bayonet, and threatened to run
Johnson through the Body, says he spoke to Houlliere
to secure the Bayonet to prevent Mischief that Houlliere
went up to deced and the Bayonet was taken away. from
the deced says that an Officer being sent for the deced

endeavoured to go away but Mr. Johnson would not
let him. says that soon after the Serjeant belonging
to deceds Company came in and the deced was removed
from Johnson's House.

Joyce Holland< no role > one of the Nurse's belonging to the
Duke of Cumberlands Hospital near Pimlico. on
her Oath saith that the deced was brought to the
Hospital on Friday the nineteenth instant says that
Deponent being a day nurse attended the deced in the
day time and gave the deced what was ordered. says
the deced complained of a Vomitting and purging
but of no Blows or Bruises says she left the deced
between eight and nine in the Evening of that day and
then he was left to the Care of a night Nurse. says
the next Morning between Seven and eight she
came again upon her Duty and attended the deced
to his Death which happened in the forenoon of that
day says the deced was sensible during her Attendance
and never made any Complaint of any Ill treatment
from any Body. says the deced informed Deponent
that he had been afflicted with a purging for a
Week and that if it stop he believed it would be
the death of him. says She helped to lay the deced
out and observed no Marks of Violence upon the
deced.

to the Duke of Cumberland's Hospital on his Oath
Saith that he was present when the deced was
brought into the Hospital a patient and attended
the deced. says he complained of a shortness of
Breath, and said he had been feverish for sometime
but did not inform Dept. of his Vomiting & purging
says he made no Complaints of any Bruises or Wounds
that Dept. and adminstred to deced what Medicines
he thought necessary. says he saw the deced the next
Morning a little before he dyed, when he was sensible
but charged no body in his Hearing, with any Ill treatment
says that the persons who brought the deced into the Hospital
near mentioned that the deced.
had reced any Bruises.
