any five or more of them and it appears by
a Copy of an Indorsement on the same lease
signed by the Chamberlain and Assistant
Comproller of the City of London and
bearing date on or about the 1st. day of
June now last past that licence was
granted to the said Sarah Box< no role > to Assign
the said Lease to George Scott< no role > for the
remainder of the said Term and that
upon the 9th. day of the same June the said
Sarah Box assigned the same Lease
accordingly and it also appears that the
Chamberlain of the said City received
that day of the said Sarah Box £5..5..
for Twelve Months rent due at Christmas
last for the premises at Kingsland
belonging to Saint Bartholomew's
Hospital and therein mentioned to be
let to her by virtue of a Lease from the
City and that the said several
Instruments so prepared and executed
and the rent so paid to the Chamberlain
were made and paid without the
Concurrence or privity of the President
Treasurer or any other Officer of the
said Hospital either in respect to the
Schedule of Fixtures, the rent proper
to be reserved or any other matter or
thing Altho' the Original Agreement
for letting the premises so demised
was made and entered into by the
Trear and Committee of the said
