Elliotts Cottage
in Tibshelfe to be
repaired at ye. Hospll.
Charge

And it Appearing to Us by Letters from Mr: Richardson the
Receiver of our Rents at Tibshelfe in Derbyshire, That One Elliott,
Tennant of a small Cottage of the said Manor has been unjustly
disturbed in the Possession thereof by One Clay a Neighbouring Freeholder
who pretends to Claime the said Cottage as his Freehold Wee
have Ordered that the Possession of the said Cottage be Maintained
at the Hosplls. Charge and that such Allowance should be made
to the said Elliott for the Expences he hath been put to on this
Occasion as Mr. Trear shall think reasonable.

Upon A View lately Taken by severall of Us of our Marshes
at Alvethley in Essex , and upon Examining into our Antient Mapps
& Surveys, We are of Opinion of That a peice Insulting called
Puttocks Hill containing about. Acres and worth about Ten
pounds P Ann lyeing without the Hospll. Marsh Wall, and
adjoyning to Wennington Creek , which is the South West boundary
of the Hospll. Estate there, is part of the Inheritance of the Hospll. but
the same is Claimed by John Allen< no role > Esqr . and hath for some
yeares part been in the Occupacon of Mr. Grant or his Undertennant
Who makes Use of a Way to and from the same over part of the
Hospll. Marshes, to which Wee conceive he hath no Right. Wee
have therefore Ordered, that Mr. Trear, should advise what Method
is propper to be taken for Recovery of the said peice of Saltings
and to promise the further Use of the said Way.

to ye Clke of ye Hospll.


Wee thinking it very Convenient That the Fees to be Take
for Leases Granted by the Governors of this Hospitall, and
in some other Cases should be Fixed and certaine, Wee
have Settled the same in manner following Vizt.

Fees to be taken by the Clerke of St. Thomas's Hospll . forth
severall Matters hereunder menconed Vizt.

Leases upon Fines or New Buildings the Ground Rents
not exceeding. £5. P Ann The Contract and all Fees
