Treat & Contract


Who this Court resolved to be, from hereforth, at full liberty to
Treat, and Contract with any pson or psons for any lease or leases to be
made of any the Mannors, Lands, Tenemts, or Hereditaments, of this Hospital,
of any time whatsoever, any former usuage custoine or order of this House
to the Contrary notwithstanding.

And it is moreover agreed by this Court that the Right Worshipfull Sr

Standing Committee


Or any Seven or more of them whereof the said President or the said
Treasurer to be one, be a Standing Commitee, from time to time to inspect
the State of the Hospital , To Survey the Fabrick thereof, and havening
taken notice of it decayes and wants of reparacons and of such other defects
thereof as ought to be amended, for the better accomodation of the Patients of
this House, to Considers what course ought to be taken for the repairing
of the Same, and for the rendering it more usefull to the ends thereof
Alsoe to view all & every or any the Manners, Lands. Tenemts, Tenemts, Mines Woods,
Underwoods, Timber and Timber Trees belonging to this Hospital, and to
treat and Contrast with such pson or psons as they shall thinke fitt
concerning the primsses or any part thereof As also to Borrow, for
the Service of the House, any Sume or Sumes of money not Exceeding
in the whole three hundred pounds, at interest not Exceeding five
pounds psent p Ann and to charge this House with the payment
thereof. And moveover to do & Execute and cause to be done & Executed
all and every Such others matters and things relateing to this Hospital,
or to the Revenue or Covernmt. thereof as they Shall think meet and
convenient for the service and benefit of the said Hospital, and from
time to time to report their proceedings therein unto this Court.
