To grant a Lease to Mr Thomas Saloway< no role > of four
houses and a Tanyard situate in Bermondsey Southwark (at
present held under a Lease granted toGreembridge for
a term of 55 years which expired at Michaelmas last at £24
per Annum) for a term of 31 years from that time at a rent of
£90 per Annum clear of the Landtax and all other taxes and
deductions and Mr. Saloway to expend at least £400 in repair
and to insure at £1500.

Mr. Treasurer reported from the Sub Committee appointed
to direct and superintend the widening and improvement of St.
Thomas's Street that the houses directed to be taken down had
been taken down accordingly - Mr. Treasurer also laid before the
Committee Proposals of Mr. Weston the Tenant of the house situate
on the East side of the Borough High Street and on the south
side of St. Thomas's Street (being a corner house) for taking a
