The Minutes of the last Grand Committee held the 30th. day of July
last were read and confirmed

Lease to Mr. Jno Rose< no role >


Agreed
To grand a have to Mr. John Rose< no role > a Baker of a House in the
Old Bailey in his own occupation (at present held under a lease to
Timothy Baylie< no role > Expiring at Midsummer 1790 at a rent
of £8. P Annm. for 21 years from that time at £25. P Annm. clear of
the Landtax and all other taxes and deductions Mr. Rose to expend
£150. at least in such repairs as the Hospital Surveyor shall
direct, within the first. 5 years of the term, and to insure at £600

To David Nease< no role >


Agreed
To grant a lease to Mr. David Nease< no role > a Publican of a House
in Thread needle Street known by the sign of the Fleece in his
own occupation at present held under a lead to Ann Lower< no role > expiring
at Michaelmas 1791 at a rent of £21 P Ann 7 for 21 years
from that time at £30. P Annm. clear of the Landtax and all
other taxes and deductions Mr. Nease to expend £196. at least in
such repairs as the Hospital Surveyor shall direct within the
first 3 years of the Term and to Insure at £600

The Committee having at a meeting on the 2d. March 1787
agreed to grant a lease to Mr. James Robert< no role > Mr. Charles Hamerton< no role >
and Mr. Thomas Greenough< no role > of a field called Quakersfield at
Hackney containing about 8s.2d. P and of Sundry prices of Land
lying in the Donns. South Mill field and the Marsh at
Hackney containing together about £29.2s.39d heretofore in
Lease to Messrs. Beurke and Miller at a rent of £65.10. P Ann
char of all taxes Mr. Hamerton attended the Committee
and agreed to relinguish (as being in dispute between the
Hospital and other persons and for other reasons there assigned
one of the above pieces of land containing £2.9 [..] Known in the
Hospital plan as No. 36. and that the same should not be
comprized in the above lease.
