Mr: Halsey Mr. Mount & such other
of the Comittee as Mr. Trear shall send to, are
desired to goe to Orpington
on Saturday next
to Marke out such Timber Trees in Broom Wood
(The Underwood whereof has been lately Cutt by
our Tennt: Mr. Kickley) as they shall think
propper to be Fell'd And to Contract &
Agree for the Sale of such Trees upon Such
Terms as they shall think most for the Interest
of the Hospll.
Mr. Trear accquainted the Comittee that the
Way which Mr: Aleyns Tennt: hath for some times
Used over part of our Marsh Ground at
Alvethley
, hath lately been Slept up by
our Tennt: Mr. Collyer according to the Order
of this Comittee, And that at Mr: Aleyns
request, Mr: Trear & some other Govt
: Mett him
last Week to Try if this Matter might be
amicably adjusted. That no Proper
Expedient being found out, Mr. Aleyn desired
the Right might be Tryed in the Easiest &
most expeditious manner, and that till it
should be Tryed, His Tennt: might be permitted Hed, to
Use the Way, Whereupon Mr. Trear by direcon
of the sd other Govrs. had Advised with Mr. Comon
Serjt: what Course was most propper to be Taken
in this Case, Who is of Opinion That Mr. Allay
