come to this hospll: by vertueandof the sd Mr: Rands
Will, is appointed to be laid out in the
Purchase of Freehold Lands for the Benefitt
of the Poor in this Hospitall, And whereas
also the Legacy left by our late Worthy
President Sr: Robt: Clayton< no role > , is likewise
appointed to be laid out in the Purchase
of a Free hold Estate, And Mr: Trear
accquainting this Comittee that her Majty.
hath been graciously pleased to Grant a
Lycence to this Hospitall to Take Lands in
Mortmaine to the Yearly Value of Three
Thousand Pounds over & above the prsent
Revenue, It is thereupon Referred to
Mr. Trear Mr: Cole Mr: Micklethwaite
Major Cooke Mr. Baker & Mr. Mount or
any Three of them (Mr: Treasurer being One)
to Treat with Mr: Russell & Mr: Underwood
who have Two Freehold Estates to dispose
of, or any other Person or Persons for
the Purchasing of such Freehold Lands &
Tenemts: as may be proper to be
purchased with the aforesd Legacyes They
Reporting what they doe therein with their
Opinion to this Comittee.

Ordered that No Officer or other
Person imployed in the Service of this Hospll:
shall Act or be Concerned as Rent Gatherer
or Receiver of Rents for any of the Tenmts. to
this Hospll. Of Houses or Ground in St. Thomas's
Parish Or as Agent for any of the sd Tenmts.
