I am Order'd By Mr Treasurer to acquaint you that He
has receiv'd information that the Premisses in the Pigrams
possession at [..] don which you repaird so late as the year 1752 or
thereabouts is now much out of Repair at which he is
greatly Surprized & really very much displeased And indeed
if his information be true I can't see how he can be
otherwise as there has [..] been paid for those Repairs
between three & four hundred PoundsI am also Order'd
to tell You that Mr Pigram Etc Mr. Ellis has appropriated
to their Use 9 or 10 Nichs of Timber without ever applying
to Mr Treasurer for them which they ought to have done
agreeable to the Terrace of their Leases

Your Letter of the 30th ult. to Mr. Wright has been laid
before Mr. Treasurer
, who has Order'd me to Writs, that in
Consideration of there having been laid out upwards of
£600 on the Premisses, and which He really thinks was
more than Sufficient to have done every requisite belong-
ing thereto, that He is not in the least inclos'd to be
at any further Expence about it. The Lease will have
Run out 11 Years rent Michas, by which you may
easily see that the Hospital has laid out considerably
more than half the Rent every year since it has been
on your Possession in Buildings & Repairs
