Mr. Mount
If there be any Pollards or Stunted Oaks that my
serve for Posts & rails at Mr. Sankeys they may be taken down as to
Gates I had rather pay your 7s/ each for the Stuff & Mr. Sankey Pay 3/.
for Workmanship than Cut down stuff for them & to buy plank Ne.
-cessaryto repair Barnfloors of Mr. Swains Barnfloor must
be new laid soon better to lay a new one now & what boards are taken
up may serve to mend the Barn & Stables at Mr. SwainsAs to Mr.
should plant a Quick hedge with a dry fence untill that is high &
thick enough to be a good fence for I Can't consent to be at the expence
of the Quantity that you demand to doe it, when the Trees are
taken down mention'd above I desire yr. Br Chadburn to let me
know the number of them & where to be used I beleive no Timber
hath been sold near 30 years but demands made frequently for
repairs so as to prevent any being sold when you have compleated
the work to be done You shall have order for your money

Wrote to Mr. Bevan to acquaint him that
Mr. Treasurer would have no Timber cut down
in Parndon Woods this year

Madam
I am this moment inform'd that the Tenant of
the Houses you told of this Hospital is taking out
the Sashes & gutting the House which is a proceedure
absolutely contrary to the Covenants of you Leases which
expressly provides that whatever shall be fixed fastned
set up in or about the said House shall there be left as
Tenturesit therefore concerns You to inquire
into this affair for whatever Damages may be
done [..] to the said House will by the said Lease
be incumbent on you do make good
