Sr.
Having been Informed that you are willing to
make some acknowledgment to Mr Paulhan (the Hospl: Tenant
for a small part of the yard in the possession of your Tenant, Mr Harvey
in Basing Lane which is compriz'd in the Governors Lease to Mr
Paulhan and plainly appears by our plan to belong to the Hospital
I take the Liberty of desiring you will signifye this your Inclination
to Mr Harvey, with whom I am acquainted, that he & I may prepare
some short Agreement for this purpose because till this be done
Mr Paulhan declines Executing the Counterpart of his Lease which
is a Detriment to the Hospital. The favour of a Line with
your Compliance will oblige Sr

Sr.
The Gentlemen of this Hospl: & of the London Workhouse
having at the Request of the Tents; & by yor: Advice postponed their
Resolution of making a Seizure at Eltisley, are surprised & greatly
displeased the at the Tenants having failed of paying a year's Rent in
two Months time according to their Promise of the 8th of March last.
I have now only to acquaint you that if it be not paid forthwith
the Governors will take effectual Methods to secure the whole Rent.
