The Estates I have mentioned being Charged in Gross with this
Annuity the Several Proprietors as is Apprehended. did Agree
among themselves upon their particular proportions and the
and theOwners of that at Dringhouses paid £19:10s those of Brown
Moor £5:10s P Annu but as to that Apportionment the Hospitals
are not concerned A few months since Mr. Watkinson Son
was in London and I Shewd him now the Arrear Stood and
also Acquainted Mr. Roundel with it she having purchase
Browns Moor and have since been in Continual
Expectation of receiving the Arrears That Annuity
haveing been always received by this Hospital for the
use of those I have mentioned The Governors of
these Hospitals are the Lord Mayor and City of London
who Act by Select Governors in the Administration of
then I have acquainted the proper Committee of such
Governours with the Account and of your Entry and
that I am informed you have been pleased to Liquity
an opinion that the Hospitals have no right to this
Annuity in consequence whereof I am directed to trouble
you with this Letter that you may be informed of the
Hospitals Claim and upon what it is founded and that
they must in execution of their Trust assert their
right to this branch of their Estate as well as all other the
provisions that have been made for the Support of those
Great and useful Charitys And they hope that when
you have consider'd the matter more fully you will
not give occasion of trouble and expence to your self
and them In hopes of being favour'd with a Speedy
Answer that I may lay before the Governors.
