MIDDLESEX .


At the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the said
County, () on Monday
the Second Day of December
in the Fortieth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc. Before William Maintaining, William
Spencer
< no role > , John Hunter< no role > , Thomas Robinson< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid ; and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint dunstan
in the West in the City of London Did at the last General quarter Session of the peace held in
and for this County Exhibit their petition and appeal setting forth That by virtue of a
Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of N. Conant and John Scott< no role > Esquires
two of His Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of
the Quorum) bearing date the Ninth day of September 1799 John Gravitt< no role > was removed
and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Marylebone in the County of Middx
to the Parish of St dunstan in the West in the City of London ; whereby the petitioners
conceived themselves aggrieved which said Appeal stood duly adjourned until this
Session

NOw, upon hearing the said Appeal, and what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parishes, their Counsel and Witnesses in
and concerning the Premises, IT IS ORDERED, that the said Appeal be, and the same is
hereby allowed, and the said Order of the said two Justices is hereby vacated and fet aside;
and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint dunstan in the West do forthwith convey and
deliver back the said John Gravitt< no role >
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Marylebone who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the said John Gravitt< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law. and IT IS
FURTHER ORDERED, that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Marylebone do forthwith pay or cause to
to paid unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Dunstan in the West the Sum of One Pound and Ten Shillings
for their Charges and Expences in relieving and maintaining the said John Gravitt< no role >
since his said Removal
