MIDDLESEX .


AT the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the said
County, ()on Monday
the Second Day of December
in the Fortieth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc. Before William Mainwaring< no role > , William
Spencer
< no role > John Hunter< no role > , Thomas Robinson< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid ; and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Kensington
in the said County of Middlesex Did at the last General Quarter Session of the
peace held in and for this County Exhibit their Petition and appeal setting forth That
by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order of Removal under the Hands and Seals of
John Hatchett< no role > and W. Carr Esqrs . two of His Majestys Justices of the peace acting
in and for the said County dated the Seventeenth day of October last Elizabeth
Dimmock
< no role > the Wife of Henry Dimmock< no role > of the Hamlet of Hammersmith Labourer
John the lawful Son of the said Henry Dimmock< no role > aged about Seven Years and
Mary< no role > the lawful daughter of the said Henry Dimmock< no role > aged about Three Years were
removed from the said Hamlet of Hammersmith in the said County of Middlesex to
the said parish of Kensington as the place of the last legal settlement of them the said
Elizabeth dimmock, her Son John, and her daughter Mary, whereby the petitioners conceived
themselves aggrieved which said appeal stood duly adjourned until this Session

Now, upon hearing the said Appeal, and what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish and Hamlet their Counsel and Witnesses
in and concerning the Premises. IT IS ORDERED, that the said Appeal be, and the
same is hereby dismissed, and that the said Order of the said two Justices be, and the same is
hereby confirmed; And IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Kensington do maintain
and provide for the said Elizabeth Dimmock< no role > and her said two Children
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law.
