maketh Oath and saith That on the fifth day of July in steal
In saw Sarah Jones< no role > otherwise Jackson< no role > the Mother of the
Illigitimate Child in Question on this Appeal That he then
desired she would be in the Way at her mothers in maudlins
Rents East Smithfield and ready to attend the hearing their
Appeal That on the fifteenth day of July instant the
Deponent attended at her Lodgings at her Mothers in
maudlins Rents aforesaid to sense the said Sarah Jones< no role >
otherwise Jackson with a [..] Superior But was informed
by her Sister That she was then gone to Place but that she
or her Mother did not know where That this Deponent hath
Since made every enquiry in his Power but has not been able
to find the Said Sarah Jones< no role > And this Deponent believes she
is every material Witness and without whose widener the
parish of St. Mary Staining cannot [..] go to a hearing
And this Deponent veryly beleives She is now kept out of the
Way for the purpose of avoiding an examination
