the County of Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the Peace for the
said County Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph without
Aldersgate in the City of London

Sheweth

That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and
Seals of Nathaniel Conant< no role > Esquire and Philip Neve< no role > Esquire two of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex (one whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing Date the eighth day of July One thousand
seven hundred and Ninety four James Rudd< no role > was removed and
conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Botolph without
Aldersgate in the City of London and delivered to your Petitioners
being the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of Saint Botolph without Aldersgate (the said Justices adjudging the place of
the last legal Settlement of the said James Rudd< no role > to be in the said
Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldersgate

That Your Petitioners apprehend themselves to be
aggrieved by the Order of the said two Justices and therefore your
Petitioners appeal against the same and pray relief in the premises
