For conveying of any one or more Rogues, Va-
gabonds, or incorrigible Rogues, who shall be
passed at one and the same Time, and are to
delivered at one and the same Place, where the
Justice or Justices shall adjudge one Horse only
to be necessary from the Place where apprehend-
ed or received to the Place where they are to be
delivered,}
And Sum of Money not exceeding
Four-pence for every computed
Mile, including the Trouble and
Expence of the Constable or Mas-
ter of the House of Correction
for attending any such one or
more Rogues, Vagabonds, or in-
corrigible Rogues.

For conveying of any Number of Rogues, Vagabonds, or incorrigible
Rogues, who shall be passed at one and the same Time, and are to be deli-
vered at one and the same Place, whether they shall be sent by one or more
Passes, Orders, or Certificates, where the Justice or Justices shall adjudge two
or more Horses to be absolutely necessary, and not otherwise, form the Place
where apprehended or received to the Place where they are to be delivered, any
Sum of Money not exceeding TWO PENCE for every computed Mile for
each Horse, not being a double Horse on which such Rougues, Vagabonds,
or incorrigible Rogues shall be conveyed; and not exceeding THREE
PENCE a Mile for any double Horse; and also any Sum of Money not ex-
ceeding THREE PENCE for every computed Mile for the Trouble and Ex-
pence of the Constable or Master of the House of Correction in attending
such Number of Rogues, Vagabonds, or incorrigible Rogues. And it is or-
dered by this Court, that no Horse shall be considered as a double Horse for
carring a Man and a Child, or a Woman and a Child, or two Persons of small
Weight, or for carrying the Constable and one Vagrant only.

For conveying any or more Rogues, Vagabonds,
or incorrigible Rogues where a Cart with three
Horses shall be adjudged necessary by the Jus-
tice or Justices, and not otherwise, from the
Place where apprehended or received to the
Place where they are to be delivered,}
Any Sum of Money not exceeding
Eight-pence for every computed
Mile, including the Trouble and
Expence of the Constable or Mas-
ter of the House of Correction in
attending such Rogues, Vaga-
bonds, or incorrigible Rogues.

For maintaining each Rogue, Vagabond, or in-
corrigible Rogue, and Persons to be passed, not
being a Nurse Child, for one Day only,}
Any Sum of Money not exceeding
Four-pence.

And for one Day and Night.{
Any Sum of Money not exceeding
Eight-pence.

And it is hereby earnestly recommended to his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the said County, that they do carefully examine upon Oath all
Rogues, Vagabonds, and incorrigible Rogues brought before them in order to
be passed, and all Constables and other Persons bringing such Rogues, Vaga-
bonds, and incorrigible Rogues before any Justice or Justices, that it may be
discovered how such Rogues, Vagabonds, or incorrigible Rogues came into
this County, and whether he, she or they have been conveyed by a Pass into
it, or to the Borders of it, and what Place they were passed from in the next
County,and at what Place in this County they were ordered to be delivered,
and whether they have voluntarily escaped from any Constable, or have been
set at Liberty by any Constable, and not delivered to the Constable of the
Township
