To the Worshipful his Majesties Justices of the peace for the
County of Middlesex in their General Session of the peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Paul
Covent Garden in the said County

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or order under
the hands and Seals of E. Kelley and Edward Read< no role > Esqrs. two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminsr.
in the said County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
29th. day of April last Alice Kelly< no role > and her Bastard Child to wit John< no role >
Aged Eight years or thereabouts, were removed and conveyed from
and out of the Parish of Saint Martin in the fields in the said City and
Liberty to the said Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden as the Place of
their last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners Conceive themselves aggrieved
by the order of the said Two Justices therefore humbly
Appeal to this Court against the said Order And
pray Your Worships will be pleased to appoint
a Day in this Present Session for the hearing and
determining the said Appeal

And your Petitioners shall Pray Etc
