The humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
George Hanover Square
within the liberty of Westminster
in the said County.
Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or order under the
hands and seals of

Esquires
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
said County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the 31st day of March 1785

his wife and their two Children (vizt.)
Sarah< no role >
aged about four years and
Elizabeth< no role >
aged about two years
were removed and conveyed from the Parish of Littleton
in the said County to the said Parish of Saint George
Hanover Square
as the place of their last legal settlement
whereby your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved
and appeal to this court against the same.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray relief
in the Premises and that a day in this present
Session may be appointed for the hearing and
determination of the said Petition and Appeal.
And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
