The Humble Petition of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Alton in Hampshire

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order of removal under the
Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex ( one whereof being of the
Quorum ) bearing date the eighth day of January Inst.
Elizabeth Pickernell< no role > wife of William Pickernell< no role > and her two
Children were removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish
of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex to
the said Parish of Alton as the place of their last legal
Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved humbly Prays that the benefit
of their said Appeal may be saved unto
them and that Your Worships would appoint
some day in the next Session for the
hearing and determining thereof Etc.
