MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks-Hall , in Saint John-Street ,
(by adjournment) on Thursdaythe thirteenth
Day of January - in the twentieth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King
of Great Britain, Etc.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor the parish of Dartford
in the County of Kent Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal
Setting forth That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals
of George Hubbs< no role > and W Barrett Esqrs two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
City and Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex bearing date the sixth
day of December 1779 Jane Baylis aged two years and upwards was removed and
conveyed from and out of the parish of Saint Margaret Westminster in the said County
of Middlesex to the parish of Dartford in the County of Kent as the place of the said
Jane Baylis's last legal Settlement whereby the Petitions conceived themselves aggrieved
Whereupon at the request of the respondents It is ordered that the said Appeal be
and the same is hereby adjourned until the next General Session of the Peace to
be holden for the said County and on Notice hereof in the mean time to be given
unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Dartford in the
County of Kent they and all person concerned do attend the Court at Hicks
Hall aforesaid on Thursday the twenty fourth day of February next at the hour of
nine in the forenoon of the same day to hear and abide the Judgment and
determination of the Court touching the said Appeal.
