This Indenture Witnesseth, That
Robert Rogers< no role > son of Elizabeth Reeves< no role > of the
Parish of Harrow in the County of Middlesex
doth put him self Apprentice to Joseph Trohes< no role > of the Parish of St
James Westminster in the County of Middlesex
Coach Painters in learn his Art, and with him (after the Manner of an Apprentice) to Serve
[..] m the 28th Day of August 1777 unto the full End and Term of Seventh Years
[..] ars, from thence next following, to be fully compleat and ended. During which Term, the said Apprennce
[..] him faithfully Shall Serve, his Secrets keep, his lawful Commands every where gladly do. her Shall do no
[..] damage to his Said M aster nor See to be done of others, but to his Power Shall let or forthwith give Warning
[..] to his Said M aster of the Same he Shall not waste the Goods of his Said M aster nor lend them unlawfully
[..] any he Shall not commit Fornication, nor contract Matrimony within the said Term. he Shall not play
[..] Cards, Dice, Tables, or any other unlawful Games, whereby his Said M aster may have and Loss. With his
[..] vn Goods or others, during the Said Term, without Licence of his Said M aster Shall neither buy nor Sell. he
[..] all not [..] Taverns, or Playhouses, nor absent him Self from his Said M aster Service, Day or Night unlawfully:
[..] in all Things as a faithful Apprentice Shall behave him Self towards his Said M aster and all his during the
Said Term. had the Said Master for and in the Conditon of this [..] of Fifty two
pounds ten Shillings being the Money Given with the said Robert [..]
his Said Apprentice in the Art of Couch Painting which he useth, by the best Means that he
can, Shall teach and instruct, or cause to be taught and instructed, finding unto the Said Apprentice Sufficient Meat,
Drink, and lodging Lodging, and all other Necessaries during the said Term.
of Seven Years and the said Robert Recovers in [..] Grand Collours
nor to Collers Correages During his said apprentiship

And for the true Performance of All and every the Said Covenants and Agreements, either of the Said Parties bindeth
him self unto the other by these Presents. In witness whereof the Parties above named to these Indentures interchangeably
have put their Hands and Seals the 28 Day of August 1777 in the Seventeenth
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the 3d by the Grace of God of Great-Britain,
France and Ireland, KING, Defender of the Faith, Etc, and in the Year of our Lord 1777
