To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex at their
General Quarter Session of the Peace at Hicks Hall
Assembled.

The Humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint James in Bury Saint
Edmunds in the County of Suffolk .

Sheweth.


That by Virtue of a Warrant or Order under the hand and Seal of
Philip Dyot< no role > Esqr. one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex bearing date the Eleventh day of September 1754 Mary Weale in
the Said Warrant or Order called Mary Weale< no role > Widow of Edward Weale< no role > Decd
with their Two Children in the Said Warrant or Order named George< no role > aged Four
Years and Jane< no role > Aged Two Years were Removed and conveyed from the
Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the Said County of Middlesex to the Said
Parish of Saint James in Bury St. Edmunds in the Said County of Suffolk as
the Place of the last legal Settlement of the Said Mary Weale and her Said
Two Children George and Jane in the Said Warrant or order named.

That Your Petitioners Apprehend themselves Aggrieved by the said
Warrant or order of Removal.

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly Appeal to this Court
against the same and Pray that this Court will appoint
Some day in this Present Session for the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of Saint Giles
in the Fields and all other Persons Concerned to attend this
Court to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination
of this Court touching the Said Appeal.
