and likewise on board the same Ship Did by his last Will and
Testament by him duly Executed in the presence of Two Witnesses
bearing date the Seventeenth of November One thousand Seven
Hundred & forty Eight
DidGive & Bequeath unto this Deponent all
his Estate & Effects whatsoever & Appointed this Deponent Sole
Executor thereof and thereby Revoked all former Wills And this
Deponent Saith that the said Testator died Upon or near the
Coast of
Madagascar
in the East Indies
within Six or Seven
days after the making the Aforesaid Will without Altering or
Revoking the same as this Deponent verily beleives And this
Deponent Saith that Upon his Arrival in England which happened
in Aprill 1752 He Applied to a Procter in Doctors Commons
in order to Prove the said Will But was Informed there that
another Will had been Proved & a Probate thereof Granted
to One

Garing's Clerks which said Mr. Garing was the Agent for the
Said Regiment & Inquired of him if any Person or Persons
