before me this 21st. day of September 1754

Who being upon Oath says that on Friday Morning Last about three of
the Clock (as She lay in Bed she heard a Noice in Mrs. Gullberts Room
who lives in this Informants Ladies House upon which this Informant
got up and went down Stairs and there Saw a Person now Present
who Calls Himself Robert Cunningham< no role > to the best of this Informants
Knowledge and belief Standing at the said Mrs. Gillberts Door with
a Poker in his hand and a Dark Lanthorn Standing by him
Upon [..] which this Informant, Said In the name of God what
brought you here, to which he Reply'd in a Low Voice Speak
Another word & I well blow Your Brains out this Moment; Says
that thereupon She run into the Dineing Room and bolted the door
and went to the Window and Cryed out Murder, upon which
Several Neighbours Came to her Assistances, and this Informant
further says that upon her Going down into the Kitchen she missed
out of a Cupbard two Large Silver Spoones which she had seen the
Day before lying there; and Says that the Manner he get into
the House was as Follows; That he got over the Garden
Wall [..] then went to the Back door of Her Ladies House
and there Bared holes round the Pannell of the Doorafterwards
Cutt it out with a Knife and Afterwards Put his Arm into the
HoleandUnlocked the door, and Put Back the Bolt, and by
that meanes got into the House
