To the Worshipfull his Majesties Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in
their General Quarter Sessions of the Peace
assembled

The humble Petition and appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St James
within the Liberty of Westmr in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or order
under the hands and seals of Thomas Quarrill< no role > and
N: dukesfield Esqrs two of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being
of the Quorum) bearing date the fourteenth day of
March 1748 James Harrison< no role > aged about six weeks
a Bastard Child was removed from the Parish of St.
Mary White Chapel in the County of Middlesex to
the said Parish of St James of the place of his can
legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioners think
themselves aggrieved and Appeal to this Court against
the same

Therefore humbly Pray your worships
will Please to appoint a time for
hearing and determining the said
appeal and that all Persons
Concerned may the Attend

and your Petrs. shall ever Pray Etc
