Victualler & of Penelope Line< no role >
Single woman his Servant

First of all John Gibson< no role > Maketh Oath that
on Saturday the 28th day of May instt: about
a quarter before ten of the clock that night he
heard a person who calls himself Samuel
Chittam open a such window in his Kitchin
& saw him reach over the window & Feloniously
Heal take & carry away a quantity of Linnen
that lay upon a table in the said Kitchin
To [..] eight Handkerchers of the Value of
one shilling & six pence & three pair of Ruffles
three caps a lawn Handkercher a Neck-
-cloath & a Napkin of the value of two
shillings & six pence his property & likewise
three caps 1 pair of Ruffles [..] Handkercher
& an Apron, wch his Servant Penelope

< no role > says are her property & this Informt: on
his Oath says that he pursued the said Samuel
Chittam
< no role > who never was out of his right
& that in the pursued he saw the said Samuel
Chittam
< no role > drop in the street the said Linnen
& that then he apprehended him
Secondly Penelope Line< no role > maketh Oath
that she had Felonious stolen taken
& carried away on the 28th day of May
instt : three caps 1 pr: of Ruffles or
Handkercher & an Apron being of the
value of two shillings & six pence being
the same things that were stolen wth
her master linnen
