At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our Sovereign Lord the
King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in st. John street in
the County aforesaid by adjornment on Thursday the fifteenth day of
October in the twenty first year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George
the Second King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > Samuel Tatem< no role >
William Withers< no role > Peter Elers< no role > Esquires & other their Fellows Justices of our
said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid
and also to hear & determine divers felonys trespasses & other misdeeds
comitted in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish of
St. George Hanover square within the Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middx have exhibited their humble petition & appeal unto
this Court setting forth That by virtue of a Pass warrant or Order under
the hands & seals of Daniel Gach< no role > & James Fraser< no role > This name instance is in set 3480. Esquires two of his
Majestys Justices of the peace for the City & Liberty of Westminster in
the said County bearing date the seventeenth day of September one
thousand seven hundred and forty seven Katherine Burnet< no role >
Singlewoman was removed from the parish of St. Martin in the fields in the
said County to the said parish of St. George Hanover square in the County
aforesaid as the place of her last legal settlement, whereby the Petitioners
think themselves aggrieved, and appeal to this Court against the same
whereupon at the request of the Petitioners It is Ordered by this Court
that the benefit of the said appeal be saved [..] unto them, And that the
hearing & determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned
untill the next General Quarter session of the peace to be holden for the
said County of Middx, And that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
poor of the said parish of St. Martin in the fields (upon notice of this
Order) and all persons concerned do attend the Court of the said next
General Quarter Session of the peace to be holden for the said County by
adjornment on the day of January next at ten
of the clock in the forenoon to hear & abide the Judgmt. & determination
of the same Court touching the said appeal,
