To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the Peace at Hicks Hall
in St. John Street in and for the sd. County Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church &
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by an Order under the Hands & Seals of Jas. Fraser< no role >
& Danl. Gach< no role > Esqrs. her of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the City and Liberty of Westminster (one of the Quorum)
bearing Date the 18th. Day of Septr. last Mary Chamber [..]
of Wm. Chambers< no role > (one from her) was removed from the
Parish of St. Martin in the Feilds within the Liberty of West
aforesaid to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes as the
Place of her last legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be Agrieved and against the said
Order do Appeal

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray
that a Short Day may be Appointed
this present Session to hear & Determine
the matter touching the said Appeal

Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex
at Hicks hall in Saint John Street in the County aforesd.
by Adjournment on Monday the Twelfth Day of October
in the 21st. Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Second King of Great Britain France and Ireland
Defender of the Faith

It is Ordered by this Court that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Martin in the
Feilds in the Liberty of Westmr . have Notice of this
Appeal and that they and all Persons concerned do
attend this Court on Thursday next at Ten of the Clock
in the forenoon to hear and Abide the Judgment and
Determination of this Court touching the said Appeal
