theCounty of Middlesex and to the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Christ Church in the said County
of Middlesex

WHEREAS complaint hath been made unto
Us, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County ofMiddlesex aforesaid
(one whereof being of the Quorum) by the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
parish of St. Mary White Chapel ThatMary Clements< no role >
Wife of Thomas Beason Clements< no role > (who is gone
for a Soldier) and their Child Named Joseph< no role >
Aged about three Years
lately intruded, and
came into the saidparish of St. Mary WhiteChapel
andare likely tobecome Chargeable to the same; We
the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath, and other Circumstance, do adjudge the
Same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the saidThomas Reason
Clements
< no role > Mary his Wife and their said
Child to be in the said parish of Christ
Church in the Country aforesaid

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to
require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
convey the saidMary Clements< no role > and the said
Child
from and out of your saidparish of St. Mary
WhiteChapel to the saidparish of Christ-
Church
andthemdeliver unto the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some,or one of them,
together with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof,
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
themaccording to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals this 12t Day ofAugust 1747
