Parish of Aynoe on the Hill in the County of
Northampton Salesman taken before me William
Morrice
< no role > Esqr one of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the Said County of Middx this 9th. day
of November 1739

This Examinant Saith that a person (now in Custody in his
Majesties Goal of Newgate in the County of Middx) who goes by the
name of William Franklyn< no role > and by the Nick Name of Rusty Disk
did on or about the 20th. day of October which was in the Year of
our Lord 1736 attack him on the Highway as he was travelling
between Islep & Wheatley in oxfordshire that he robbed him and
forcibly took from him One Guinea Fifteen Shillings in Silver a
Silver Watch & his Hatt and this Robbery was Committed in the
day time between the Hours of Four & Five o'Clock in the afternoon
on or about the Said 20th. October in the year 1736 And this
Examinant Saith that he is very Positive that the person who Robbed
him as aforesaid the Said Wm. Franklyn< no role > above named & further this
Examinant Saith not

yesterday & Comitted on the Oaths of Jonathan Keats Warwick< no role >
for a Conspiracy in going before Mr. Justice Morris of Kensington & there
taking upon him the name of John Spruce & falsly Swearing agt. one
William Frankland< no role > a [..] in Newgate & charging him by the
name of Frankland otherwise Rusty Dick with a Robery on the
Highway as he was travelling between Islop & Wheatley oxfordshire
& taking from him a Guinea 15 in Silver a Silver Wath a Halt
between four & five a Clock in the afternoon on or abt the 20th.
of October 1736 which fact being Confirmed on the Oath of said
John Warwick< no role > & Richard Horton< no role > Clerk to Mr. Morris who produced
the Information taken & Signed comitted to Woodstreet Compter
