Brief to oppose Ye Defts be [..] bailed
Wm Frankland< no role > a Prisoner Newgate for dept [..] having
been very active in Promoting a Complaint to ye Court of
Aldren of sevl abuses & Extorsion comitted in the said
goal by Mrs Nicholls wife of Nichols ye head Turnkey
& Cl of ye Paper there, She thoughts it adviseable to
have Ye sd Frankland removed into ye County, [..]
[..] in order thereto to have him charged
with a Felony in some distant County.

For this purpose the first applied to Jno Warwick< no role > an
under turnkey & a Creature of her own one who had
been in ye Pillory [..] one or twice for
perjury, but he declining to Swear what She desired did
however by her directions apply to Edwd Bygrave< no role > a
notice Gambler & who had some obligations to Mr.
Nicholls for having some time before got him (as ye Newgate Phrase is) rapped
off [..] with him Warwick & Mrs Nicholls
at last prevailed & having together concerted them Strory Bygrave
& Nicholls [..] themselves up like Country People
& in Company with WarwickBygrave went in attackney Coach
to Mr Morrice a Virtue of Ye Peace at Keating ten [..]
Bygrave [..] taking upon him Ye named
John Spruce< no role > & Mr Nicholls Yt of his Sister & there
Bygrave made & submited ye Information hereunto annext marked
