The Jurors for our Lord the King upon their oaths Present that Edward Bygrave< no role > late of the
Parish of Kensington in the County of Middx Labourer on the 9th. of Novr last Past in the
13th. Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second new King of great Britain
Etc and in the Year of our Lord 1738not having the fear of God beforely Eyes but being moved & seduced by ye Instgacon of the Devill & falsely [..] fully & his [..] Contriving & intending greatly to injure one William
Frankland< no role > of London Brewer in ye good name & reputacon &alsoto [..] cause ye sd. Wm. Frankland to be imprisoned & tried for his life for a felonyby falsety charging him the sd Wm Frankland with a
Robbery on the King's highway with force & [..] on the [..] d 9th. day of Novr. in the Yearafores:of our Lord 1739 at thesaidsd
Parish of Kensington in the County aforesd.Came [..] Cause before William Morice< no role > Esq [..] their one of
the Justices of our sd: Lord the King assigned to keep the Peace of our sd: Lord the King
in the County aforesd. And also to hear & determine diverse Felonies Trespasses & other
Misdemeanours comitted in the sd. County And the sd. Edward Bygrave< no role > then & there
Voluntarily Corruptly deceitfully & unlawfully assumed personated & took upon himself the Name
and Person of one John Spurce< no role > of the Parish of Aynoe on the Hill in the County of
Northampton Sales man before the sd. Wm: Morice & in the Name & place of the sd
John Spurce & as if he the sd. Edward Bygrave< no role > had really been then true Person of
the sd: John Spurce [..] [..] sd. 9th Day of November in ye yr. aforesd. at Kensington aforesd took his Corporal oath upon the Holy Gospek of God
before the sd: Wm: Morice (the sd. Wm: Morice then & there to wett in the sd. Parish of Kensington having Sufficient Power
and Authority toAdinministerthe sd: oath in that behalf to the sd: Edward Bygrave< no role > )And that the
sd:Edward Bygrave< no role > upon his oath aforesd. not having the fear of God before his Eyes
but being moved & seduced by the Instrgation of the desil then & thereVoluntarily & did then [..] in
