The Order of William Dobyns< no role > & Thomas Inwood< no role > Esqrs two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace of the Said County of Middx (Quorum unus)
And in the proper Division the 17th day of March Anno Dom 1732
according to the Directions of the Statute in that case made [..]
concerning a Female Bastard Child lately Born in the Parish of
Stanmore Magna in the Said County on the Body of Ann Tern and
likely to be Chargeable to the Said Parish of Stanmore Magna

First Upon Examination of the Cause and Circumstances of the
Premisses taken upon Oath and [..] due Consideration there of
has by is the Said Justices Wee do adjudge Thomas Neal< no role > of the
Parish of Aldenham in the Liberty of St: Albans in the County
of Hertford to be the Putative Father of the Said Bastard Child
And wee do Order that as well for the Releife of the Said Parish
of Stanmore Magna as also for Provision and Maintenace of
the Said Child That the Said Thomas Neal< no role > Shall Weekly and
Every Week from the 20 day of March and so long as the Said
Child Shall be Chargeable to the Said Parish of Stanmore
Magna for the time being pass the Sum of 2s. Shillings per week
for and toward the Maintenance of the Said Child Also
we do further Order that the Said Thomas Neal< no role > shall immed
iately pray to the Churchwardens or Overseers of the poor of the
Said Parish of Stanmore Magna the Sum of One Pound Seven
Shillings and two pence in & towards the Exter ordinary Charges
they have bin at in Maintaining the Said Ann Fern, during
the time of her lying in And lastly We do Order the Said
Thomas Neal< no role > forthwith upon Notice of this our Order
to give Sufficients Security to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Stanmore Magna
aforesaid for the due performance of this our Order
much there of as by him hereby Ordered to be performed
Given under our hands and Seals this Seventeenth day
of March Anneys Dom: 1732/3

And you the Churchwardens or Overseers of the peace
of Stanmore or Some of you are with all concerned
Speed to give notice of the Order about to the [..]
