Whereas upon reading the humble peticon of Robert Kent< no role >
exhibited unto this Court settingforth that the Petr. haveing for
above seven yeares past faithfully served the Office of high Constable
for Kensington Division in the Hundred of Ossulston he
prayed that he may (the next Easter Sessions) be discharged
from the same, And that this Court will grant him a power
to levy the severall sumes of money (in a schedule annexed
to the sd. Peticon) on the Inhitants of the severall Parishes &
hamletts in the sd Division, they haveing refused or
neglected to pay the same, to enable him in the mean time [..]
to recover the same, and to pass his accompts with the
Trears, And that the Petr. haveing been at great expence
(of at least fifteen pounds p ann) in writing, printing, & sending
out his precepts & attending the severall special & petty Sessions
Etc humbly hopeth that this Court will be pleased to make
some liberall allowance towards reimburseing the same,
or what part thereof the Court shall think fit or reasonable,

This Court dothhathorderedthat the Petr. be discharged from his said
Office of high Constable, andhathdoth appointed William Holloway< no role > of
Chelsea in this County Gentl . to be high Constable of Kensington
Division aforesaid in the room & stead of the Petr.But on peruseing
the schedule annexed to the sd. peticon (a coppy of which schedule
is alsoe hereunder written) It appeareth to this Court that the
severall sumes of money therein menconed to be unpaid by the
severall parishes & places specifyed in the sd. schedule amount in the

and on the pposeall of Henry Barker< no role > Esqr . One of his Maties Justices of the peace of this
County that He will take care the sd. Robert Kent< no role > should be paid such wt sums of money should
[..] appeare to be uncollected upon the severall Rates within menconed in his charge.
