Whereas upon reading the humble peticon & appeale
of John King< no role > & John Wilson< no role > Churchwardens of the
parish of st. Giles Cripplegate in this County and
Robert Champ< no role > , John Ham< no role > , Richard Browne< no role > &
Elisha Bentley< no role > overseers of the poor of the same
parish & of Many other of the Inhabitants of the
said parish exhibited unto this Court settingforth
that the petr. being credibly informed that John Fuller< no role > &
Benjamin Hilton< no role > Esqrs . two of his Maties Justices of the peace
for this County (Quorum urns) inhabiting neare
the sd. parish of st. Giles Cripplegate in Finsbury
Division in the sd County did by an order under
their hands dated the first day of May last require
John Crockford< no role > & Peter pridmore< no role > late Churchwardns .
of the said parish & Henry Chapman< no role > John steward< no role >
Thomas Foreman< no role > & Thomas Barksdale< no role > late overseers
of the poor of the same parish to make & yeild up
unto them a true & perfect attempt of all sumes
of money by them reced or rated & Sessed & not
reced and alsoo of such stock as was in their
hands or in the hands of any of the poor to worke
and of all other things concerning their sd. office
which attempt they have refused to make up
before the sd. John Fuller< no role > & Benjamin Hilton< no role >
notwithstanding they two were the principall if not
the only Justices that made the Orders for the releife
