Upon bearing of the Appeale of the Church: Wardens & overseers of the poor of Trinity
Parrish in the Citty of London against an order under the Hands & Seales of
Alexander Pitfeild< no role > & Samuell Benson< no role > Esqr . two of his Maties. Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middx (Quorum hun) bearing date the Twenty
Fifth day of June last whereby Edward Fenner< no role > & Margarett< no role > his Wife and
his Three Children Nybetha< no role > aged about Five Years Alice< no role > aged about
Three years & Seth< no role > aged about Two years were removed from the parrish
of sd. Leonard Shoreditch in the sd. County of Middx to Trinity parrish
aforesd. at the Last place of their Legall Settlemt. And Upon hearing of what
was insisted on by Councell for the Inhabitants of the sd. parrish of st.
Leonard Shoreditch & also by Councill for the Inhabitants of Trinity
parrish aforesd. It was admitted by the sd. Councell on both sides that about
the year One thousand Seven hundred & Six It was Contracted & agreed
between the sd. Edward Fenner< no role > & Richard Green< no role > of Trinity parrish in the
Citty of London Barber that the sd. Edward Fenner< no role > Should Serve the said
Richard Green< no role > as his Apprentice for the Terme of Seven years to Learne
his said Trade of a Barber but on Acct. of Saveing some Expences in
Bindeing the sd Apprentice it was agreed that he should be really bound
to Richard Trubey< no role > & accordingly att. the procuremt: of the sd Richard Greene< no role >
by pudre bearing date the Twelfth day of November in the year of our
Lord one thousand Seven hundred & six the sd Edward Fenner< no role > was bound
Apprentice to Richard Trubey< no role > Cittizen & Vintner of London for the Terme
of Seven years Comencing from the day of the date of the said Indenture
which sd Richard Trubey< no role > did not Inhabitt in Trinity parrish aforesd
& that the sd. Edward Fenner< no role > did not live with or serve the sd Trubey but
went to & Lived with & served one Richard Green< no role > a Barber & a Free man
of the Citty of London who at that time Inhabited in Trinity parrish [..]
& Continued with him for the Space of Three Years or there abouts And it did
appear to this Court that the said Edward Fenner< no role > was never turned over
by the said Richard Trubey< no role > to the sd. Richard Green< no role > before the Chamberlain
of the Citty of London according to the Custome of the said Citty or any
otherwise This Court upon Consideracon had of the prmisses It of
opinion that the sd. Edward Fenner< no role > by his sd. Service to the sd Richard
Green
< no role > in Trinity parrish aforesd. obtained a Legall Settlement there Wherefore
