ordered by the sd. Court that the Chappell wardens &
Overseers of the poor of the sd. Towne of New
Brentford should attend the sd. Court with the poors
rates of the sd. Towne on the twenty ninth day of
April now last past to shew cause why the Petrs.
should not be releived in the promisses, And whereas
by Order by made by the sd Court on the sd twenty
ninth day of April last the hearing & determining of
the said appeale was adjorned untill this present
Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace held for
this County, Now upon hearing of what was insisted
on by Mr. [..] Malet of Councell for the sd Appellants
who alledged that Mr. Roger Rogerson< no role > Rector of the
parish of Hanwell [..] in this County (within which
parish the sd Towne of New Brentford is) is not
assessed in the sd rates or either of them towards releif
of the poor of the sd. Towne of New Brentford in respect
of his tythes arising within the same, and that John Ansell< no role > , an
Apothecary & severall other Occupiers of houses within
the sd Towne of New Brentford are not assessed in the
sd. rates or either of them towards releife of the poor
thereof but are totally [..] left out of [..] the sd. rates
And [..] therefore prayed that the
sd. rates might be vacated & sett aside, And alsoe upon
hearing of what wasalledinsisted on by Mr. Corbett
of Councell for the Chappellwardens & Overseers of the
poor of the sd Towne of New Brentford who alledged
severall matters in vindicacon of the regularity of
the sd rates, This Court doth not think fit to
vacate the same but doth dismiss the sd peticon &
appeale, And to the end that the sd. Roger Rogerson< no role >
John Ansell< no role > & all other persons by law ratable to the releife of the poor of the sd Towne [..]

from henceforth be duely assessed towards releife
of the poor of the sd Towne of New Brentford It
is Ordered by this Court that the Chappell wardens
& Overseers of the poor of the sd Towne of New
Brentford or the greater part of them doe from
henceforth, when & as often as occasion shall
be or require, raise weekly or otherwise by taxacon
of every [..]
Inhabitant parson [..] & other & of every Occupier of lands houses tythes impropriate &
propriacous of tythes or saleable under woo [..] [..] the said [..] Town
of New Brentford competent sumes of money for
& towards the necessary releife of the lame
impotent old blind & such other among them as
are poor & not able to worke and alsoe for the
putting out poor children to be Apprentices, [..]
according to the ability of the sd Towne by an
equall rate or rates, And It is further Ordered
by this Court that the [..] Chappell wardens & Overseers
