Whereas upon reading the humble peticon & appeale of the Churchwardens
& Overseers forofthe poor of the parish of St. Bridgett als
Brides London exhibited unto this Court setting forth
that by Warrant under the hands & seales of Samuel
Penny
< no role > & Thomas Sewell< no role > Esqrs . two of his Maties. Justices of
the peace for the [..] County of Middx (Quorum unus)
beareing date the ninth day of March last Robert
Alcock
< no role > & Mary< no role > his wife & Ann< no role > their daughter aged
about five yeares were past on the Petrs. as the place
of their last legall settlemt. from the parish of St. Mary
Matfelon als whitechappell , And that the Petrs. conceived
themselves aggreived by the order of the sd two Justices
and appealed to this Courts therefrom, It was ordered
by this Court that the Churchwardens & overseers of
the poor of the Parish of St. Mary whitechappell in the
said County of Middx & all other persons concerned
should attend this Court on this day to heare & abide
the Judgmt. & determinacon of this Court touching the
said appeale, Now upon hearing of what was alledged
byIfMr. Serijt. Darnall of Councell for the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the said parish of St. Mary whitechappell
who prayed to have the hearing of the said appeale
adjorned and offered divers reasons for that purpose
And alsoe upon hearing of what was alledged by Mr.
Corbett of Councell forthe said Appellants It is Ordered
by this Court that the hearing & determining of the said
appeale be adjorned untill Tuesday the one & thirtieth
day of May next at eight of the clock in the forenoon
