P adjorn sabti 30. [..] die April 1715

Whereas upon reading the humble peticon & appeale of
Fra: Tyssen< no role > of the parish of Hackney in this County
Esqr . exhited unto this Cort setting forth that he is rated
by a late three quarters rate in the poors books of the sd.
parish the sume of 3s.10d. made by the Chwdens: & Inhitants of
the said parish only & not signed by the Overseers of the
poor, there being in the said parish two Chwdens: & two
Overseers of the poor, And that the petr. is advised that
the sd. rate is illegall, it not being made pursuant to the
statute in that case made & pvided, And that the Petr.
therefore appealed agt. the sd. rate And the petr. praying
this Cort to appoint a day for the hearing of the sd. appeale
And that the prsent Chwdens: & Ov: of the poor of the sd. parish
might be obliged to attend this Cort wth. the poors book of
rates, And that the Petr. might be releived in the prmes,
It was ordered by this Cort that the Chwdens: & Ov: of the poor
& such other of the cheife Inhitants of the sd. parish who
are usually present at the makeing & assessing of publique
rates in the sd. parish should attend this Cort on this day to
answer the Appellants complaint above menconed and
shew cause why the Appellant should not be releived in the
said rate, and why the same should not be quashed &
vacated for the insufficiency thereof, Now upon peaceing of
