Sheweth

That Your Petitioner's late Father was appointed by
the Court the Jobbing Smith to the Session House for the County and
the Goals of New Prison and Clerkenwell Bridewell That on the Fourth
day of July Instant Your Petitioners Father Died and has left an Aged
Widow who is entirely destitute of any Way to get her livelihood but
what may arise from her late Husbands Business.

That Your Petitioner has for some Years past conducted
the Business with, and done the different Works at the abovementioned
Places for his Father.

Your Petitioner therefore humbly hopes that
Your Worships will be pleased to appoint him
Your Jobbing Smith in room of his late Father
for me benefit of himself and Mother.

And Your Petitioner will ever Pray Etc.

Resolved that the said George Williamson< no role > be and he is
hereby appointed the Jobbing Smith to this County in the Room of his late
Father Jeremiah Williamson< no role > deceased.
