February 1782.

A Motion was now made that the word Six be inserted in the said
Report in the Room of the Word Twelve-and the Question being put it
passed in the Affirmative.

A Motion was now made that the said Report so amended so confirmed
and the same passing in the Affirmative It is Ordered that the said
Report be and it is hereby ratified and confirmed accordingly. And
it is further Ordered that it be and it is hereby referred back to the
said Committee to carry he said Resolutions into execution

By adjournment same day

It having been usual soon after the issuing of every Commission of the
Peace for their County for Lists of the Names of such as are therein
added and left out to be printed for the use of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for this County Ordered that a List of the Names of such
Gentlemen as were by such Commission first created Justices for
this County and of those left out of such Commission be printed and
one Copy thereof delivered to each Justice of the Peace for this County
who shall apply for the same.

By adjournment same day

John Barnfather< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this County in his place having informed the Court that
two Men who were Committed to a New Prison at Clerkenwell by
Thomas Parker< no role > Esquire one other of his Majesty's Justices of the
peace for this County had been ill used in the said Prison
A Motion was made that it be referred to the Committee appointed
to and (style of Committee to examine into the circumstances of the
said ill usage and report their opinion thereof. Before the
question was put upon this motion the previous Question was
moved and upon holding up of Hands there appeared for the
previous Question Eight against it Eleven whereupon it was
declared to be carried in the Negative: The Question upon the
original Motion was now put and carried in the Affirmative:
